SO BEHIND!!!

Well, I will start with now! It is May and we have almost compelted 1st grade, Pre Kindergarten, and preschool for 2 others! Blows me away to see my little bitty babies get to this point. Savannah is now 18 months old. I pointed out to Fred the other day this is the longest I have gone without being pregnant. On one hand it is nice, on the other hand I think I could easily be "addicted" to pregnancy. I do miss the thought of a precious gift from God growing, only to arrive in our hands and add to the family we already have!

But I think we will just have to hug and love on the babies we have already! Because I don't see any other ones arriving in our near future:(

So, today we had first grade's last field trip of the year. The Dallas Aquarium and Spegetti Warehouse. It was fun. I pointed out to Chloe that I ate there when I was a kid as well. She thought that was pretty cool.

I absolutly loved how 1st grade lead up to this trip. For the past 3-4 weeks they have worked on their ocean unit. Each child was assigned an ocean creature. Chloe got the Pharaoh Cuttlefish. They had about a week to do research and find a total of 6 facts about the creature. Then spent a week putting the information into a power point presentation! Yes, 1st grade! The following week they had to bring in a model or picture they made of their creature. Then the next day they did there presentaiton for the class and parents of their ocean creature. It was amazing to watch each child! They did terrific! I couldn't believe how well they spoke!

Chloe was so excited and practiced daily! We worked hard at spreading the work out over time, as not to wait until the last minute. She created her model with clay and let it dry over the weekend. Then she started painting it. We protected it from her sisters and brother! Then the night before it was due, she did some final touches on the paint job. Daddy picked it up and BROKE IT IN HALF! It was terrible!
