So, it seems as though the week of January 23rd 2011, was far from kind to us. On Sunday we got struck down by the FLU! On Monday, we got struck down by the FLU! On Tuesday we were still down. On Wednesday we had 2 STRUCK down by the FLU! Seriously!
Finally we all were feeling better by Friday. A fast dinner out with the kids. And then in bed early, Fred and I snuck out to see True Grit. It was fun(oh, we did have a sitter though).
I am vowing now that The week of January 30th, 2011 is going to bring us joy! I will look for it.
Seems like there have been many strikes hitting my family, immediate and extended, friends as well. But the thing is, (and I credit a blog title for reminding me of this) 'We can find Joy in the Mourning'. So waking up the rest of this week. No more striking down, what joy may come!
I am adding a few pictures of people I would love for you to pray for!
You can just pray for God's protection over each of them and healing and wholeness!
