I cannot believe it is September already. School started for almost everyone, a month ago. Savannah was my last one to start and that happened today. I almost kept her home after she had fought a cold. But Fred said she was fine and should go to school. She ran in the door. She supposedly had a great day! I say it that way because I was not there. That bothers me these days. I want to see it all first hand. I want to see Laurel run up in chapel when they call her name.
I want to see Anabelle be a sweet friend and give a high five to a girl in her class she doesn't often see.
I want to see Chloe play with her friends at recess.
I want to see Corbin talk to his teacher while moving his hands the entire time.
I want to see Savannah do everything.
But I cannot. My eyes and ears have to be in trusted to those teachers we love. And my heart has to rely on God's protection over them! How will I ever get through the college years!
Well, first you have to go through the teenage years, and by that time you'll probably be READY to send them packing for college! (or, so I hear...)
ReplyDeleteThe twins have Ms. S. this year? Kaelin and Koren had her for summer camp and they both LOVE her. (And Kaelin has a girl-crush on her daughter, M.)
